Todayâs insight: The next question changes everything.
Hereâs what Iâve learnedâsometimes the difference between a stuck team and a high-performing one isnât skill.
Itâs not resources. Itâs not effort.
Itâs the quality of the questions being asked.
Most leaders default to statements.
âLetâs stay focused.â
âWe just need to execute.â
âLetâs make sure weâre aligned.â
But those arenât strategies. Theyâre soundbites.
And repeating them doesnât move people forwardâit just adds noise.
In a real team settingâlike the one I sat in just a few weeks agoâ
there was tension.
One leader thought the issue was pricing. Another thought it was sales process.
So they kept debating. Around and around.

âWhat problem is the customer actually trying to solve?â
